The summer season, between June and September, are optimal months to visit the Arctic. Late May to early June are the best times to go on an Arctic cruise as these are periods when you’ll get the greatest opportunities to spot wildlife.
Apart from ensuring that you have all your travel documents with you, make sure to pack the appropriate clothing. For example, if you’re going on an arctic cruise, bring enough waterproof clothing and thermal wear to keep yourself warm and dry. Remember to pre-book any shore excursions.
