Arrival in Delhi
Your extraordinary journey begins as you land in India’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the ultra-chic Roseate House, a contemporary sanctuary of luxury and tranquillity located conveniently close to the airport. Take the evening to relax in your luxurious room and prepare for your morning flight to tiger country the following day, ensuring you begin your wildlife expedition feeling fully refreshed and energized.

Journey into the Wild Canopy
An early morning flight whisks you from Delhi to Nagpur, the gateway to India’s tiger country. From here, a 2.5 hours’ drive brings you to the award-winning Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge at Tadoba. Settle into your opulent, expansive villa, blending rustic charm with modern luxury. As the golden hour approaches, embark on your very first exclusive game drive. Keep your long lenses ready as the park’s famous apex predators begin to stir, before returning to the lodge for an intimate, candlelit bush dinner set deep within the woods.

Morning and Afternoon Jungle Safaris
Awaken to the evocative sounds of the Indian jungle as we venture into the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. Spanning 625.4 square kilometers, this vibrant ecosystem is Maharashtra’s largest national park and carries a rich history, having once been the hunting grounds of the historic Gond kings. Today, the reserve seamlessly merges the ancient Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary into a thriving, protected sanctuary. On our morning and afternoon safaris in our exclusive vehicles, your expert naturalist will help you track fresh pugmarks and decode the frantic alarm calls of langurs and chital deer. Return to the lodge to unwind, knowing you are exploring one of India’s finest wilderness treasures.

Capturing the Art of Wildlife
Another thrilling day of exploration awaits in Tadoba’s rich, biodiverse core. Today we focus on capturing the subtle nuances of the wild – the morning mist rising off the watercourses, the brilliant plumage of a crested serpent eagle, and the dramatic tension of a tiger on the move. Because we navigate the park in exclusive vehicles, you will have the freedom and space to position your gear perfectly for the ultimate shot.

Cultural Connections and New Horizons
Bid a fond farewell to Tadoba with an exclusive morning excursion to Satara Village, a shining model of rural transformation and community pride located just a short drive from the park. Guided personally by the Village Head, you will enjoy a private, insightful walk through one of the region’s cleanest and most sustainable eco-villages. Engage with local residents, immerse yourself in their traditions, and witness firsthand how this inspiring community harmoniously lives alongside the forest through innovative solar, water, and waste-management initiatives.
After this deeply enriching cultural interlude, we journey onward to the Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary (about 1.5 hours’ drive). Check into your spectacular Luxury Nest at The Bamboo Forest Nature Conservancy before setting out for an afternoon game drive, ready to capture a brand-new wilderness canvas.

The Wild Heart of Umred
Today, immerse yourself in the rich, multi-layered ecosystem of Umred Karhandla. Our morning and afternoon safaris reveal a thriving wilderness that goes far beyond its famous apex predators. Scan the canopy for some of the region’s 160 bird species, from the radiant Indian roller to the majestic crested hawk-eagle, and watch for sloth bears, wild dogs (dholes), and elegant sambar deer grazing in the meadows. For those interested in big cats, the sanctuary also plays host to a legendary wildlife phenomenon – the tigress “F2” and her highly unusual litter of five cubs. Witnessing their playful family dynamics adds a thrilling chapter to an already spectacular day of diverse wildlife photography.

Fond Farewell to the Wild
Savor your final morning in the wilderness with a concluding safari focused on Umred’s enchanting landscapes and smaller wonders. Capture the early light filtering through the teak forests, look out for rare reptilian life, or enjoy a final chance to photograph the sanctuary’s diverse mammals before we bid farewell to the bush. After a celebratory brunch, we transfer back to Nagpur (about 2 hours’ drive) for your late afternoon flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, step back into old-world elegance at The Imperial, New Delhi’s most iconic heritage hotel.

Delhi Departure
Begin your last day with an exploration of Old Delhi’s most atmospheric backstreets and bazaars. Wander through the lively lanes of Chandni Chowk, where hidden temples, historic havelis and the fragrant spice market of Khari Baoli reveal the city’s layered character. Continue to Dariba Kalan, famed for its silver jewellery, and Paranthe Wali Gali, one of Old Delhi’s most iconic culinary lanes.
Transfer to the airport for your evening departure flight, with lasting memories of India’s wildlife and vibrant culture.
