Arrival in New Delhi
Touch down in New Delhi, capital of the India. Transfer to your accommodation and unwind, preparing for the discoveries ahead.
Highlights of New & Old Delhi
This morning, visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and drive past Lutyens’ Delhi, covering India Gate, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House) and other Government buildings.
In the afternoon, you will be taken to explore the Old Delhi tour visiting India’s largest mosque at Jama Masjid, Dariba Kalan, Paranthewala Street, Kinari Bazaar and Asia’s largest spice market at Khari Baoli. Hop on a rickshaw ride passing by the bustling Chandni Chowk to the Red Fort.
The Mughal Heritage
This morning we drive 3.5 hours towards Agra. Built in the early 16th century and the capital of the mighty Mughals for a long time, Agra is famous for its beautiful monuments of medieval times.
Visit the Agra Fort, begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, additions continued to be made until the time of his grandson Shah Jehan. The magnificent palaces, towers, bastions, ramparts and gateways symbolise the power of the mighty Mughals.
Proceed on the Mughal heritage walk by visiting Mehtab Bagh, a garden complex facing the Taj Mahal from the other side of the river Yamuna. The complex is beautifully aligned with the Taj Mahal on the opposite bank and thus offers a stunning view of the great monument.
Taj Mahal at Sunrise
Early in the morning, we will visit the Taj Mahal at Sunrise. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast.
Capital of the Mughal Empire
This morning we travel to Ranthambore NP (5 Hours). En route to the deserted erstwhile Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO), where you will see the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, and Panch Mahal.
On arrival, check into your hotel and be at leisure for the rest of the day.
Full Day Safari
Enjoy morning and afternoon safaris onboard our private jeep. Ranthambore National Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary located in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. Its rich biodiversity, historical significance, and well-managed infrastructure make it a premier location to spot tiger.
Morning Safari
This morning, will be taken to Ranthambhore National Park for the final game drive in the morning by using our private Jeep. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast.
Drive to Shahpura
In late morning, we drive to Shahpura (4 hours)
Upon arrival enjoy the walking trails or go boating on the lake taking in the rural scenery in this region.
Shahpura cultural encounter
After a sumptuous breakfast go explore the largest lake, Nahar Sagar, visit quaint villages en route and relax in the shade of century old trees at the hosts 140 acre orchard farm.
After lunch, walk to the village, stroll around the village and explore its rich, multicultural vibrancy and fascinating arts-and-crafts tradition. Also wander the local marketplace and view the unique goods on sale and how they’re made. Immerse yourself in the ancient art of Phad painting, a 700-year-old storytelling tradition that originated in Shahpura.
Melange of Architecture
After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur (3 hours).
On arrival, visit Amer Fort- one of the most fascinating Indian forts. It was the ancient capital of the erstwhile Jaipur state. Its construction began in the 16th century and was subsequently added to by successive rulers. Inside the fort, the places worth visiting are the Palace of Mirrors, inlaid with millions of tiny glistening mirrors.
The Pink City
This morning, you will explore Jaipur city, visit the City Palace, the former residence of the royal family, including access to the ceremonial room with a storyteller and archivist.
After lunch, visit to the observatory (Jantar Mantar) at Jaipur, built in 1728, is the largest and best preserved of them. The observatory has a curious collection of structures, which enable the calculation of many astronomical and astrological events.
Then we drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. Hawa Mahal, built in 1799 is one of the landmarks of Jaipur city, although it is little more than a façade. It is a five-story building in pink, built to enable the women of the harem to see the activities of the outside world without being seen in the hall of Public Audience, and the beautiful.
Transfer: To Airport
Relax and enjoy the morning before bidding farewell to India. Transfer to New Delhi International airport (4.5h) for your flight home.
