*NEW* 13 DAYS ATACAMA & BOLIVIA: ACROSS THE ANDES (14 – 26 Mar 2026)

BUENOS AIRES, JUJUY, TILCARA, HUMAHUACA, ATACAMA, SILOLI DESERT, UYUNI, LA PAZ

Highlights

  • Private stargazing under the Atacama sky, guided by an expert astronomer in one of the world’s premier dark-sky regions
  • Tailored exploration of Atacama’s surreal terrain, from lunar valleys to multicoloured lagoons-led by a dedicated private guide
  • Scenic picnic amid the Uyuni Salt Flats, thoughtfully arranged to immerse you in the endless expanse of crystalline white

Stretching the length of South America, the Andes reveal a mesmerizing tapestry of landscapes – each more arresting than the last. Begin your journey in Argentina’s enchanting northwest, where dramatic ridges cradle vibrant Spanish colonial towns and the Hills of Seven Colours rise in surreal beauty. Cross into Chile’s Atacama Desert, the driest on Earth, where sculpted dunes, steaming geysers, salt flats, and volcanic peaks form a cinematic panorama under an endless sky.

Continue to Bolivia’s legendary Uyuni Salt Flats-an ethereal expanse of shimmering white that seems to stretch beyond the horizon. Here, jewel-toned lagoons, steaming hot springs, and volcanic outcrops create a painterly wilderness home to resilient flamingos. Conclude in high-altitude La Paz, the so-called “Tibet of the Andes,” dramatically nestled in a natural bowl beneath snowcapped peaks at nearly 4,000 metres above sea level.

Along the way, encounter wind-sculpted rock formations, ancient lava flows, and expansive desert plateaus that stretch toward the horizon. After visiting the haunting train cemetery near Uyuni, arrive in Colchani, on the edge of the legendary salt flats

Day 10
23 MAR 2026 (MON) UYUNI

Luna Salada
Breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Uyuni Salt Flats

Today is dedicated to one of Bolivia’s most iconic wonders – the Uyuni Salt Flats, the world’s largest and most spectacular salt desert. Stretching over 10,000 square kilometers, this dazzling white expanse was once an ancient lakebed and now forms an otherworldly canvas of hexagonal salt patterns, mirror-like reflections, and boundless horizons.

Depending on seasonal conditions, Uyuni reveals two very different but equally breathtaking faces. In the rainy season of March, a thin layer of water covers the flats, the surface transforms into a giant sky-reflecting mirror, creating an ethereal, dreamlike world. If the water level permits, we may have a chance to enter the Incahuasi Island to see the gigantic cacti on top of the remains of an ancient volcano. (Today’s visit depends on weather conditions, subject to change)
