*NEW* 11 DAYS YEMEN: THE FORGOTTEN JEWEL OF ARABIA (27 Jan – 06 Feb 2026)

Seiyun, Wadi Do'an, Al Mukalla, Socotra

Highlights

  • One of the very few curated journeys into Yemen, offering safe, discreet access to a land of extraordinary heritage and cultural depth.
  • Showcases the architectural marvels of a forgotten time, from the soaring mudbrick towers of Shibam and the domed mosques of Tarim to the ancient cliffside villages hidden deep within Wadi Do’an.
  • Enjoy intimate cultural encounters, including a private Hadrami music and dance performance, as well as exclusive visit to traditional Yemeni artisans and beekeepers.
  • Daily picnic lunch in different awe-inspiring spots on Socotra Island prepared by a private chef.
  • Most fully inclusive arrangements and accompanied by Intriq’s Travel Concierge

Closed off from the world for years and difficult to access even now, Yemen remains one of the least-visited countries on Earth. But for the fortunate few who make the journey, it offers a rich tapestry of preserved architecture, mystic traditions, and landscapes that have changed little for centuries.

This expedition takes you through two astonishingly different sides of Yemen. On the mainland, explore the fabled Hadramawt Valley, where the soaring mudbrick towers of Shibam, the centuries-old mosques and madrasas of Tarim, and the remote canyon villages of Wadi Do’an reveal the architectural and cultural soul of southern Arabia. Then, fly to the island of Socotra, a land of surreal natural beauty known as the “Galápagos of the Indian Ocean.” Here, you’ll sail along untouched coastlines, walk beneath ancient Dragon’s Blood Trees, trek through hidden wadis, and wander deserts where crimson dunes fall into turquoise seas. Together, these two regions create a journey unlike anywhere else in the world.
