Set out on a delightful wildlife adventure in the lush forests of the Arenal area, searching for one of the rainforest’s most charming residents: the sloth! During this relaxed two-hour excursion, you will be accompanied by an eagle-eyed guide as you venture into the favorite hiding spots of two-toed and three-toed sloths. As you quietly scan the canopy, you may also be surprised with opportunities to spot howler and spider monkeys, blue jean frogs or colorful tropical birds.

Afternoon Option 2: Rainforest Safari with Tico Picnic
Gear up with a life vest and hop onboard our inflatable rafting boat for a gentle drift along the wildlife-rich corridor of Peñas Blancas River. Step into the forest trails of Mistico Hanging Bridges with its thriving tropical ecosystem. Slow down with a riverside picnic along the scenic Burro River while you listen to the soft murmur of flowing water and birdsong in the air.

Remote, lush, and wonderfully untamed, the vast network of winding canals, lagoons and dense tropical forest of Tortuguero National Park forms a watery wilderness that has been likened as the “Amazon of Costa Rica”. Each day, you may embark on two on-site experiences, ranging from Natural History Boat Tour, visit to Tortuguero Village & Sea Turtle Conservancy, journey to the canal of Laguna 4, guided hikes or kayaking.
