This flying safari is designed to cover the biggest highlights of this vast country in a time-effective manner, while granting you with an exclusive vantage point over the extraordinary landscapes.
Arriving into the Namibian capital of Windhoek, you will connect on your scheduled flight to Sossuvlei (approximately 1 hour). Tonight, don’t forget to take advantage to star-gaze over unpolluted nightsky!
Located at NamibRand Nature Reserve, Sossusvlei represents desert scenery at its best, providing stunning setting for desert-adapted wildlife such as springboks, oryxes, ostriches and wolves. Enjoy guided walks and nature drives throughout your stay.
After your morning activities, we will transfer to the airstrip for your onwards flight to Doro Nawas via Swakopmund (approximately 2 hours 10 minutes), followed by a connecting flight to Hoanib (approximately 40 minutes).
Staying at a remote lodge, enjoy guided excursions to explore the rugged scenery and harsh coastline, where despite its arid conditions have given lives to various oryxes, springboks, elephants, giraffes, lions and brown hyenas. For a stay of minimum 3 nights, you will also get to enjoy a shared fly-in excursion to Skeleton Coast where you may come across seal colonies and witness the stunning shipwrecks dotting the coast.
Board your scheduled flight transfer back to Doro Nawas (approximately 30 minutes) for your onward connection to Ongava (approximately 45 minutes).
The private Ongava Game Reserve at Etosha is a premier game park spanning 30,000 hectares with access to wildlife within privacy and seclusion. Embark on game drives in search of more desert-adapted wildlife. You may be lucky to come across rare species such as black-faced impalas, or be amazed nonetheless with the burst of energy of wild animals congregating at the waterholes, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, black and white rhinos.
After your morning safari activities, transfer by flight to Windhoek (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes) where you can board your flight home or continue to your next destination in Africa.
