The appellations of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Burgundy have been world renowned for its superb quality and some of the Grand Cru vineyards represent the most prestigious the world over. This trip aims to go in-depth into some of the very best of Champagne & Burgundy wine as well as lessor known but also superb wine-growers. We will stay 2 nights in Reims for the charming countryside and of course champagne tasting in premier champagne houses. Exploring Burgundy’s Côte-d’Or area, visit charming Burgundy townships and enjoy gourmet meals with wine in Michelin Star restaurants and local secrets. Accommodation will be also brings out local beauty.
This trip will be led by Géraldine, born in Champagne and was exposed to bubbles and wines very early on! She is also a Certified Wine Specialist by the Society of Educators (US) and has the Advanced Diploma of the WSET, Wine and Spirit Education Trust (UK). Arrive Champagne
Arrive in Paris early this morning. Drive 165km or about 2 hours to the charming wine region of Champagne.
Along the way, we will visit Hautvillers, the home town of the famous Dom Perignon, a Benedictine monk whose work in wine-making helped to develop champagne. Enjoy lunch and check in your hotel.
This afternoon enjoy a private visit of Veuve Clicquot cellar, the House of Veuve Clicquot is among the most prestigious Champagne firms in the region. They played an important role in establishing champagne as a favored drink, also invented the riddling rack that made the crucial process of degorgement.

Champagne Heritage After lunch, travel through the scenic routes to the Heucq family’s three-generation winery, a passionate grower nurturing Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir with tradition and quality focus. Stroll their vineyards, hear personal stories, and taste authentic small-producer Champagnes. Conclude with a late afternoon visit to the majestic Reims Cathedral, a UNESCO gem blending Gothic grandeur and royal heritage. Cap your Champagne immersion with a 3-Michelin-star dinner at L’Assiette Champenoise, Arnaud Lallement’s family-run masterpiece of precise, acidity-bright cuisine. |

Côte des Bar to Chablis
Start the day with family-owned Champagne Drappier (est. 1808), diving into 12th-century limestone cellars and fermentation secrets on a guided tour, followed by a tasting of three Pinot Noir-forward cuvées from their all-seven-varietal vineyard.
After lunch amid Aube’s rolling hills, journey south to Burgundy’s Chablis for Domaine Laroche, set in the medieval Obédiencerie (St. Martin’s 1,000-year-old cellars). Explore their estate’s Premier/Grand Cru sites, walk Kimmeridgian soils, and taste crisp, mineral-driven Chardonnays like Les Chanoines, pure elegance from ancient monk winemaking roots.

Côte de Nuits
Today we visit the Route des Grands Crus, visiting Burgundy most prestigious vineyards of the Côte de Nuits. Specializes in red wines made predominantly from Pinot Noir.
This morning, we travel from Vosne Romanee to Gevrey-Chambertin. Stop at one of the most important family estate in Burgundy. The owner Anne Gros is the most respected female winemaker of Burgundy. Walk through the vineyards with detail explanation, in Vosne Romanee including La Tache, Saint-Vivant, Romanee Conte, Richebourgs etc… Return to the estate and taste their wine from the barrels.
In the afternoon, enjoy a tasting session with variety of Bourgogne wine. Before we return to Beaune, will also visit Clos de Vongeot with its chateau standing majestically symbolizing Burgundy’s wine history and excellence. This is home of the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.

Côte de Beaune
Spend the day in Côte de Beaune, Chardonnay plays a very important role with 7 of the 8 Grand Cru vineyards producing white wine.
This morning we visit a Wine Barrel’s factory, an oak barrel plays a major role during the fermentation or aging period, learn the whole process, understand how they affect the wine and you may want to try making one.
Savor lunch at Olivier Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet, pairing regional cuisine with their Chardonnay lineup amid elegant bistro vibes.
Afternoon at Château de Meursault: Explore its 12th-16th century cellars (unique double vaults), stroll the Clos du Château vineyard, and taste 7+ Côte de Beaune icons-whites from Meursault 1er Crus and reds like Santenay-in this historic estate.
Our last dinner in Burgundy is a blast – the Michelin 3-star Maison Lameloise, a big name in French gastronomy and is the ideal place for a truly memorable dining experience.

The Grand Finale
Dedicate the morning to a cherished family estate, where generations craft Premier Cru whites and Village reds. Enjoy a private tour of cellars and vineyards, plus intimate tasting of 8-10 terroir-driven wines with owners sharing harvest tales and oak secrets.
Afternoon at UNESCO-listed Abbaye de Fontenay (est. 1119), Burgundy’s prime-preserved Cistercian abbey: Wander forge, cloister, Romanesque church, gardens, and scriptorium amid whispering forests-birthplace of monastic winemaking that shaped Côte d’Or crus.
