From Osaka, we will whisk you into Kyoto, the premier cultural centre of Japan thanks to its historical significance as the capital of Japan from its founding in 794 until the mid-19th century. Whether this is your first time or a repeat visit to Kyoto, there are numerous alluring gardens, shrines, palaces, and wooden houses to uncover while you are here. After a 90-minute tour of Kyoto, enjoy a food tour of the Nishiki Market. The highlight will be a private visit to a historical, 400-year-old sake brewery. Gain insights into the traditional sake-making process, from rice polishing and fermentation to bottling, followed by a tasting session of the factory’s signature brews—known for their symbolic significance of growth, longevity and blessings.

Today is free at leisure for you to explore Fukuoka at your own pace. Fukuoka is known for its blend of traditional Japanese customs and modern influences. You may want to check out the bustling Hakata district with its vibrant shopping streets and historic temples. It is also a paradise for food lovers, so you may want to get your appetite ready to hunt for local specialties such as Hakata ramen, mentaiko, motsunabe and yakitori at one of the city’s many izakayas and dining outlets.
If you fancy, we can arrange optional shore excursion to Dazaifu at an additional cost. Dazaifu played a pivotal role in the history of Buddhism in Japan and was once the political centre of Japan’s western capital.
Today is free at leisure for you to explore Busan at your own pace. South Korea’s bustling port city is home to many beautiful beaches, perfect for sunbathing or water sports. Busan is also famed for its deep fishing heritage, so you may want to check out local seafood specialties while you are here!

Enjoy a guided two-hour walking tour of Dejima. Formerly a man-made island reserved for Dutch traders, Dejima houses many historical structures and residences. The rest of the day is free at leisure for you to explore Nagasaki at your own pace.
