This journey provides opportunity for close encounters with these endemic species paired with dramatic landscapes of Madagascar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your accommodation in the Antananarivo waterfront area.

This morning, we drive to the Royal Hill of Ambohimanga, the former palace of the Malagasy royal family and now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

You will be transferred approximately 4 hours to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park.
Night Exploration of Andasibe National Park
As night falls, we head into the biodiverse forest for a guided walk, with the chance to spot elusive nocturnal species like mouse lemur (Microcebus), leaf-tailed geckos (Uroplatus) and more.
Discovering Lemur Species in Andasibe National Park
Begin your day with a walking safari in the Analamazaotra Reserve, a tropical forest home to numerous species of lemurs, including the biggest one called Indri Indri. Learn about these iconic and unique primates native to Madagascar
Continued Adventure in Andasibe
Head to Vakona Lemur Island, a private reserve offering you opportunity for close encounter with a few species of lemurs.

Off-the-Beaten Tsingy
Named after the Malagasy word meaning “to walk on tiptoe,” the Tsingy’s jagged limestone formations form a surreal and nearly impenetrable landscape. This lesser-known Tsingy is home to over 100 species of birds and 6 lemur species, including the playful Von der Dicken’s Sifaka, Milne-Edwards Sportive lemur, the red lemur, and the incredibly secretive Aye Aye. We will explore the unique cave system that stretches under the entire massif, uncover rare fossil remains and enjoy picnic lunches under the shade of the tsingy.

Walk among these towering trees and enjoy a scenic sundowner in this unforgettable landscape.

Moramba Bay Boat Trip
Be swept away by the charm of Moramba Bay, where towering baobabs, untouched beaches, and quirky islets await discovery on a scenic boat excursion along the northwest coast. If water conditions are favorable, enjoy a bit of snorkeling. Afterwards, spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
