Option 1: Safari Activities at Phinda

Part of the Munywana Conservancy within the protected wildlife land in KwaZulu-Natal, this reserve consists of seven distinct habitats, ranging from woodland, grassland, wetland, forest, mountain ranges, rivers, marshes and pans, as well as proximity to unspoiled coral reefs of the Indian Ocean. All of the Big Five is also present in this reserve.

Option 2: Safari Activities at Tswalu Kalahari

This vast and remote reserve is one of a kind, being one of Africa’s last remaining semi-arid wildernesses. Some definitive activities include tracking elusive pangolin or aardvark, horse riding, encounters with habituated meerkats, rock art walks, dinner on the dunes under the stars, or more. Some activities may be chargeable at an extra cost.

Day 07 Tswalu Kalahari / Winelands

Flight: Durban or Tswalu to Cape Town

Guests staying in Phinda will fly from Durban to Cape Town, whereas guests staying in Tswalu will fly from Tswalu to Cape Town.

Transfer: Airport to Accommodation

You will be transferred from the airport to your accommodation in the Winelands region.

A Curated Wine Safari

Today’s tour will take you into four wine estates. Sample a curated selection of award-winning wines at the working farm of Babylonstoren, visit the Delheim Wine Estate’s historic cellar to sample its exceptional wine with fynbos cupcake pairing, uncover vintage Swartland wines at The Wine Studio of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, and visit the young Waterford Wine Estate with interesting portfolio of unique wines.

 

Day 09 Winelands / Cape Town

Transfer: Winelands to Cape Town with Sightseeing

You will be transferred from Winelands to Cape Town with sightseeing.

Table Mountain & Cape Town Orientation

Ascend Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting) for a sensational view of the city bowls. We have included a fast-track ticket so that you can skip the queue to the top. Returning to the city, you will be driven past the colorful Malay Quarter, Castle of Good Hope, Houses of Parliament and the Company Gardens. Travel to the Sea Point and Camp’s Bay for scenic ocean vistas.

Hopper Helicopter Flight

This 10-minute helicopter flight takes you into the front row for bird’s eye view of Cape Town, the city bowl, Green Point Stadium, Clifton Beach, Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles. The helicopter flight departs at either 10am or 4pm

Day 10 Cape Town

Finest of Cape Peninsula

Embark on a leisurely journey that invites you to savor the breathtaking beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Set forth towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, traveling along one of South Africa’s most picturesque routes, passing through the charming Hout Bay. Delight in a scenic cruise to Seal Island, where you can witness playful seals and vibrant seabirds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). Continue along the stunning Chapman’s Peak Drive (conditions permitting), leading you to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Ascend to the summit aboard the funicular where the views will leave you in awe, visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and visit the historic naval base of Simon’s Town.

Kirtenbosch Botanical Gardens

Explore the celebrated Kirtenbosch where you will learn about various indigenous South African flora, such as fynbos, proteas, cycads and rolling lawns. There is also a treetop canopy walkway where you can experience the forest from elevated viewpoint that meanders through the tree branches.
