This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with Dr. Charles Munn, a world-class field biologist who will be your dedicated wildlife specialist guide throughout this journey.

Early this morning, transfer to Sao Paulo Airport for your domestic flight to Manaus.

Amazonian Science Forest Discovery

Manaus, located in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, is home to a diverse array of monkey species. This afternoon, embark on your wildlife adventure as we set foot into the Science Forest to scout for beautiful primates, such as the Golden-faced Saki Monkeys, Pied Tamarin Monkeys, and Squirrel Monkeys.

Later, head to the tall canopy tower in the 25,000-acre Federal Biological Reserve on the edge of the city, climb to the top for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding nature.

The Meeting of the Waters

Today, we will go on a boat excursion of about 2.5 hours to witness a natural phenomenon known as the Meeting of Waters, where the Rio Negro, a blackwater river, meets the Rio Solimões, a muddy river, flowing side by side for several kilometers without immediately mixing, creating a stark visual contrast.

As we continue exploration of the Amazon rainforest, look out for more interesting monkey species such as the White-fronted Capuchin Monkeys and Red Howler Monkeys

Amazon Pink River Dolphins

Continue your Amazon adventure with a 1.5-hour boat trip upstream to spot the wild pink river dolphins, also known as the boto, in transparent, tannin-tinted waters. The Amazon pink river dolphin is the largest and smartest out of the five freshwater species.

Manaus & Amazon Adventure Continues

Set out this morning to discovery of more mammal biodiversity and keep an eye out for the Woolly Monkeys and Sloths. In addition, we will visit the remarkable Manaus Opera House, also known as the Amazon Theatre.

After lunch, transfer to Manaus Airport for your domestic flight to Cuiabá via Brasília. Transfer to the hotel and rest for the night.

Pantanal Exploration

After breakfast, transfer to Pantanal in about 3.5 hours’ drive, to the Earth’s largest expanse of tropical wetlands and flooded grasslands. Your adventure at Pantanal encompasses boat outing, walking trails, and climbing up to observation towers. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive wild Ocelot, the captivating black-and-gold Howler Monkeys and more!

Journey to the Jaguarland

After breakfast, drive about 2 hours to Porto Jofre, followed by a boat transfer for approximately 1 hour to your floating hotel accommodation for four nights in the Piquiri River.

The search for Jaguars and other wildlife begins this afternoon with a 4-hour boat outing on the Piquiri River.

Enjoy a short wildlife lecture on a different topic every evening onboard the Jaguar Suites.

Piquiri River Safari

All mornings and afternoons, you will hop onboard your boat to navigate along the intricate channels of the Piquiri River in pursuit of Jaguars, Giant Otters, Capybaras, Caimans, Hyacinth Macaws and a myriad of other awe-inspiring creatures that call this vibrant ecosystem home.

Transfer: Hotel to Cuiaba Airport

From your accommodation, you will be transferred approximately 1 hour by boat to Porto Jofre. Thereafter, you will be transferred approximately 4 hours by road to Cuiaba Airport for your flight to Sao Paulo and connect to your onward flight.
