Ambua Lodge

Ambua Lodge is one of Papua New Guinea’s pioneering eco‑lodges, perched at about 7,000 feet above sea level in the Tari Gap with sweeping views over the Tari Valley. Built in traditional highlands style, its thatched bungalows and modern rooms sit amid moss forest, waterfalls and rich birdlife, including several species of birds of paradise, with trails leading directly into the surrounding rainforest.
