Handunugoda Tea Plantation
Visit the Handunugoda Tea Factory, famed for producing the exotic virgin white tea. Rich in antioxidants, the virgin white tea is considered to be among the world's healthiest and most expensive tea. Mulkirigala Rock Temple
Today's visit will bring you into the ancient Buddhist site of Mulkirigala Rock Temple, believed to be constructed by King Saddhatissa in the third century. Marvel at the collection of paintings and sculptures from the Kandyan era within the temple premises, most of which narrate stories from the life of the Gautama Buddha and Jataka stories.
