Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

Free at Leisure in Gamla Stan

Enjoy half day at leisure. We have selected an accommodation which is located near the charming old town (Gamla Stan). Gamla Stan holds a significant role in shaping the history of Swedish architecture.

In the afternoon, you may choose from one of the following walking tours for an insider’s look into Stockholm. We recommend you to book early in advance as guide’s availability is limited.

Option 1: Södermalm Neighborhood with a Local Expert

Explore the capital’s hippest cultural neighbourhood at the hilly Södermalm, buzzing with the energy of a bustling city life not found anywhere else in Stockholm.

Option 2: Swedish Socialism Tour with a Local Expert

Under the backdrop of the modern Klara district, you will discover the architecture of modern Swedish welfare state, the cultural idea of Sweden and critically assess Swedish stereotypes.

Option 3: Royal Palace with a Historian

Trace the steps and history of Swedish royals as you explore the Royal Palace and other sites associated with the symbolic heads of the country.

Option 4: Stockholm Political History with a Historian

Learn about Sweden’s military past as you walk along the City Hall and Riddarholmen Island.

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Flight: Stockholm to Kiruna

Begin your adventure in style! Let the lovely dogs pull you through the beautiful landscape of Swedish Lapland from the airport into your accommodation, taking approximately 75 minutes.

For the adventurous, you may wish to opt to upgrade for sleeping in a cold room of the ICEHOTEL with its furniture made of ice! You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins.

Free at Leisure

Today is free at leisure for you to explore the ICEHOTEL and admire the ice carvings, which are built every year from scratch.

You will be picked up and transferred to your next accommodation.

Snowshoeing Adventure (Shared)

Breathe in the fresh Arctic air as you explore the pristine landscape of Swedish lapland on a snowshoeing adventure. Hot beverages and cake will be served during this two-hour experience.

Ice Fishing (Shared)

A unique experience that immerses you into life in the Arctic, experience the joy of ice fishing as you drill a hole through the ice and set down a small lure to attract local fish species. This experience lasts approximately 4 hours.

Harads at Leisure

The day is free at leisure for you to soak in the ambience of your boutique accommodation, enjoy the accommodation facilities or avail to one of the activities offered by the accommodation. In the evening, we have included an evening activity for another chance to spot the Northern Lights!

Option 1: Shared Snowmobile Safari (if staying at Arctic Bath)

Explore the quaint snow-draped landscape of the wilderness from the back of a snowmobile. During daytime, the scenery of forests blanketed in white is a winter wonderland experience. If you take an evening tour, you may be surprised with the potential sight of witnessing the dance of the Northern Lights above you.

Option 2: Ice Dining (if staying at Treehotel)

Let us treat you for a 3-course dinner with wine or beer, lit by toches and candles, as you settle into the heated tipi tent set up on an ice-covered lake. If you are lucky, you may be able to spot the Northern Lights gracing the night sky during your delightful dinner.
