The beautiful northwest of France is renowned as one of the country’s finest and most sophisticated regions, inspiring legendary paintings by Van Gogh, Claude Monet and Da Vinci who spent their lives there.
The UNESCO-listed Mont Saint-Michel and Loire Valley, home to numerous historic castles and vineyards are sights to behold, and not forgetting the delectable French cuisines and fine wines. You will also set your foot on the historical D-Day landing beaches where Normandy was invaded during the World War II.
The châteaux of Loire Valley included in this journey are carefully selected, where each has distinctive design and architectures, lovely gardens, and interesting stories behind them. Gain further insights of the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel and Château de Chambord as you access to areas closed to the public with your own private guide.

Transfer: Paris Airport to Guainville
Upon arrival in Paris CDG Airport, we will transfer to Guainville with sightseeing along the way.
Footpaths of the Legendary Painters
Head to Auvers-sur-Oise, a commune where the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh created more than 75 paintings in less than 70 days. Visit Auberge Ravoux to discover Van Gogh’s preserved room and learn about the story of his last days. Next, drive about an hour to Giverny to visit the historical House of Claude Monet, who was a French painter and founder of impressionist painting.
Bayeux and Château de Fontaine-Henry
After breakfast, we will set out for an approximate 3-hour drive to the medieval city of Bayeux and visit the Tapestry Museum which contains the 69m long story of William the Conqueror’s English invasion.
Afterwards, proceed to visit Château de Fontaine-Henry, a magnificent historical Renaissance-style castle built in early 13th-century, and enjoy a cocktail at one of the highest roofs in France.
D-Day Landing Beaches
Devote your full day to the World War II D-Day Landing beaches to learn about the historic invasion of Normandy which took place on 6th June 1944. You will discover a real open-air museum on this history-packed day, making stops at Arromanches, Omaha, and Juno beaches.
Marvelous Mont Saint-Michel
This morning, a 2-hour drive brings us to Mont Saint-Michel and its bay that are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the medieval village and its impressive Gothic-style Benedictine abbey perched on the rocky islet, including private access to the rooms closed to the public with a lecturer from the abbey.
Journey to Loire Valley
After breakfast, we will drive approximately 4 hours towards Loire Valley, known as the Garden of France, and renowned for its numerous awe-inspiring castles and vineyards. Enjoy lunch and wine-tasting at a historic wine estate which produces fine authentic wines.
Then, continue another 2.5 hours’ drive to Blois, and visit Château Royal de Blois (Blois Castle), unique with four facades built in the styles of four different historical periods, from the Middle Ages to the 17th century.
Renaissance in Loire Valley
Today we will be visiting three well-known castles of Loire Valley, including the elegant Château de Chenonceau (Chenonceau Castle) built over Cher river, Château Royal d’Amboise (Amboise Castle) which was the palace of the Kings of France during the Renaissance, as well as Château du Clos Lucé which was the renowned Leonardo da Vinci’s last residence.
Private Guided Tour of Château de Chambord
Conclude your discovery of Loire Valley with a private guided tour of the remarkable Château de Chambord (Chambord Castle), the largest castle in the Loire Valley, including exclusive access to the mezzanines and spaces usually closed to the public, and conclude with a glass of champagne.
After lunch, depart Loire Valley and drive about 3 hours to Paris for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Paris CDG Airport for your flight out.
