Saudi had just opened for tourism at the end of 2019. Apart from being best known as the birthplace of Islam, Saudi is also blessed with unique historical and cultural heritage. Even for the most jaded travellers to exotic destination, the warmth and hospitality of the locals are what make the trip truly amazing.
This trip explores Saleh Madain, which like Petra is a stunning archaeological site left behind Nabatean along the ancient Frankincense trail except that it has only a small fraction of the tourists. Abha and Narjaan region is blessed with its mountainous landscape, unique mud architectures and colourful traditions. We will also visit Riyadh and Jeddah with their distinctly different flavours.
Arrive in Abha early afternoon. Upon arrival, met & transfer to your hotel.
You will have time in the afternoon to explore the beautifully colourful cultural village of Ben Hamsan and enjoy a welcome dinner here.
This morning, we embark on a ½-day hike into the surrounding mountains for its great scenery and visit some of the villages with Yemeni style multi-stories mud architecture. Enjoy a picnic lunch.
Return to Abha and spend late afternoon to visit Shada Palace, Basket, Dagger Market and Muftaha Art Village.
This evening, be treated to an unique Arabia experience of being hosted in a local family home.
Start early today and drive 3½ hours or so to Najran. En route, you will visit more villages, many with the most beautiful unique Yemeni influenced mud architecture.
At the end of the day, catch a flight Riyadh and upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
The capital of Saudi had witnessed key moments in the country’s history. Today, it is also home to mammoth projects that propel Saudi into impressive modernity.
In the morning, visit Musmak Fort where King Saud started his conquest to unite the country. Then explore Dira Souq and be guided through the excellent National Museum. In the afternoon, visit Dirriyyah Old City the birthplace if Saudi Arabia and an UNESCO Old Heritage site. Return to Riyadh for sunset at the Link Bridge of Kingdom Tower.
This morning, we fly to Al Ula. Upon arrival, be transferred to your luxury tented camp.
In the afternoon, we will visit Al Ula Heritage Village with 8 centuries of history and Abu Raeid Museum. Late afternoon, enjoy a great view from Hurat Alouird.

You will visit Al Diwan, the Siq, Qasr Al Bint, Qasr Farid, Qasr Saneh and the Hejaz railway station.
In the afternoon, you have 2 options. For the history buff, visit Dadan, an archaeological site dating back 8000 years or you may just relax and enjoy the unique scenery at Elephant Rock
Late afternoon, fly to Jeddah
Jeddah has played the key role of being the gateway to welcome pilgrims worldwide to visit Mecca. It is without doubt the most international of all cities in Saudi with a vibrant ambience.
In the morning, we visit the colourful Fish Market, Al Tayibat Museum and the Corniche. In the afternoon, enjoy our well curated walking tour of Old Jeddah visiting some of the most beautiful old houses and enjoying tea with the locals.
Free at leisure until transfer to airport for your flight out.
