Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, is a city with buildings from the Soviet era, vast squares, and bustling local bazaars. Spend an easy day taking in the sights of Bishkek and visit the National History Museum of Kyrgyzstan.

Ala Archa National Park
Set out on a hike in the magnificent Ala Archa National Park, known for its picturesque gorge of snow-capped mountains, pine-forested valleys, waterfalls, and gushing rivers. You will also witness a private yurt set up by local nomads.

Folklore Musical Performance in Bishkek

Transfer: Bishkek to Issyk Kul with Sightseeing
Embark on a 5-hour drive to the shores of Issyk Kul, with sightseeing stops in Suyab and Burana.

Transfer: Issyk Kul to Bishkek Airport with Sightseeing
You will be transferred to Bishkek Airport (approximately 5 hours), with a sightseeing stop along the way.

Visit the open-air Petroglyph Museum of Cholpon-Ata, featuring one of Kyrgyzstan’s most impressive collections of ancient rock art.

Flight: Bishkek to Osh

Transfer: Airport to Accommodation
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Osh to rest.

Exploration of Osh
The age of Osh can be traced through rock drawings and inscriptions found on the northern slope of the four-peaked Sulaiman-Too Mountain, one of the main shrines of the Islamic world in Central Asia. Visit the main cave museum, the mosque of Babur—the founder of the Mughal Dynasty in India—and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city.

Transfer: Osh to Fergana via Andijan
Cross the border at Dustlik into Uzbekistan, followed by an approximately 1-hour drive to Andijan. From there, continue for another hour to reach Fergana.

Andijan, the Birthplace of Babur
In Andijan, visit the Juma Mosque and Medressa, as well as the Babur Literary Museum.

Treasures of Fergana
Explore the Fergana Regional Museum, one of the oldest museums in Uzbekistan, featuring an impressive collection spanning the history, culture, and art of the Fergana Valley. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk in Al-Fergani Park.

Transfer: Fergana to Kokand with Sightseeing
You will be transferred from Fergana to Kokand, with sightseeing stops along the way.

Best of Fergana Valley
Begin with a visit to the drama theatre in Fergana, named after Governor M.D. Skobelev. In Margilan, explore the traditional silk factory “Yodgorlik” and learn about the full silk production process. Continue to Rishtan to visit the renowned family ceramic workshops of Rustam Usmonov. Enjoy lunch with a local family, and in Kokand, look out for the impressive Palace of Khudayar Khan.

Transfer: Kokand to Khujand
Today, cross another border into Tajikistan, one of the more remote countries along the Silk Road. From Kokand, it is approximately a 2-hour drive to Khujand.

A Discovery of Khujand
Enjoy a short walk through Victory Park and Somoni Park, followed by a cable car ride across the river to Kamoli Khujandi Park.

Cultural Heritage of Khujand
Little known to the outside world, Khujand has witnessed a dramatic history—from the Persian shah Cyrus the Great, to Alexander the Great of the ancient world, to Vladimir Lenin of modern history—all of whom have left their mark here. Visit the Khujand Fortress and the Khujand Historical Museum. Enjoy a private tour of the Arbob Palace, built during the Soviet era and now a museum. Continue to explore Panjshanbe Bazaar and the Shaikh Muslihaddin Mosque.

Transfer: Khujand to Panjakent
Set out on a 4.5-hour drive to Panjakent, one of the oldest towns in Central Asia.

Ancient Towns: Panjakent and Sarazm with Archaeologist
Delve into the history of Panjakent and Sarazm, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, accompanied by a specially invited archaeologist. Visit the archaeological museum, home to the burial of the “Princess of Sarazm.”

Transfer: Panjakent to Iskanderkul
Today, drive approximately 4 hours to the beautiful Iskanderkul Lake, situated 2,195 metres above sea level.

Iskanderkul Lake with Snake Lake Hike
Spend the rest of the day exploring Iskanderkul Lake and its surroundings, including a hike to Snake Lake and a nearby waterfall. End the day with a relaxing sundowner after the walk.

Sarytag Village Hike
Soak in the stunning landscapes of Iskanderkul as you hike around Sarytag village.

Transfer: Iskanderkul to Dushanbe
Drive approximately 3.5 hours to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, and check in to your hotel.

Best of Dushanbe & Navruz Palace
Begin your discovery of Dushanbe with a visit to the Golden Hall and Hall of Mirrors in the magnificent Navruz Palace. Continue to the National Museum of Antiquities, Rudaki Park, the statue of Ismoil Somoni, and the Dushanbe Flagpole. End the day at the Tower of Independence, where you can enjoy sunset views from the observation deck.

Further Exploration of Dushanbe
Visit Hisor Fortress and its museum, a well-preserved historical landmark on the outskirts of Dushanbe. Continue to the vibrant Mehrgon Market, filled with spices, nuts, fresh and dried fruits, and more.
