Valletta Highlights
Valletta is inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage sites for its late Renaissance urban planning with fortified walls and great monuments in well-chosen locations.
Visit the St. John's Co-Cathedral, built in the Mannerist style and housing Caravaggio's painting masterpiece "The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist". Unravel insights behind the Ottoman's Great Siege of 1565 at Fort Saint Elmo, marvel at the artefacts and collectables at the National Museum of Archaeology, and a photo stop at the Grand Master's Palace (temporarily closed).
Tales of the Three Cities
As the birthplace of medieval Malta, the Three Cities have a long history in Malta. The oldest of the three cities is Vittoriosa (Birgu), where you will visit the Inquisitor's Palace and Fort St. Angelo. You will also visit the other two cities, Senglea and Cospicua, which were both founded by the Order of Saint John.

Valletta / Hypogeum / Hagar Qim / Rabat / Mdina / Valletta
Prehistoric Archaeological Sites
Start with a visit to the magnificent Hypogeum, the only known prehistoric underground temple in the world (advance booking strongly recommended, limited spaces available for preservation reasons).
Thereafter, continue to Mnajdra and Hagar Qim Temples via the panoramic route of Buskett Gardens and Dingli Cliffs. These temples are one of the world's oldest freestanding buildings dating back to 2500 B.C. The site is situated on a hilltop where one can admire breathtaking views of the sea and the island of Filfla.
Heritage of Rabat & Mdina
Proceed to the ancient capital city of Rabat and Mdina. You will also visit the fascinating St. Paul's Grotto in Rabat, set beneath the beautiful St. Paul's Church, as well as the Cathedral of Mdina.
