Bulla Regia and Dougga 

Set out on an approximate 2.5-hour drive to the archaeological site of Bulla Regia, an ancient Roman settlement renowned for its remarkable subterranean villas, ingeniously designed to provide relief from the summer heat. 
 
Continue on a 1.5-hour drive through the rolling hills of northwestern Tunisia to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dougga, one of North Africa's best-preserved Roman cities. Discover its impressive Capitol, theatre, forum and Roman baths, including several dating back to the 2nd century AD, before driving the 2 hours back to Tunis.

World-Famous Bardo Museum

Admire the exceptional collection of Roman mosaics at the Bardo National Museum, home to one of the world's largest collections.

We take a domestic flight to Tozeur, a city on the borders of the Atlas and the Sahara Desert, and check-in to your luxurious desert hotel.

15 December 2027 (Wed) Tozeur

Discover Tozeur 

Embark on a full-day adventure through Tozeur and the neighbouring mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza. 
 
After lunch, drive approximately 1.5 hours to Ong Jmal, which means “Camel Head”, a sandstone formation resembling the upper body of a camel. Afterwards, continue with an hour’s drive to the Medina (Old City) of Tozeur, surrounded by beautiful stone walls.

16 December 2027 (Thu) Tozeur / El Jem / Monastir

El Jem - Colosseum of North Africa 

Travel approximately 5.5 hours to El Jem, where you will visit the El Jem Museum, home to an outstanding collection of Roman mosaics and artefacts. 

Next, marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed El Jem Amphitheatre, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world and the second largest after the Colosseum in Rome. 

Continue with an approximately 1.5-hour drive to Monastir and check in to your seafront hotel.

17 December 2027 (Fri) Monastir / Kairouan / Sousse / Monastir

Kairouan and Sousse 

This morning, drive approximately 1.5 hours to Kairouan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most celebrated cities in the Islamic world. Visit the Great Mosque of Kairouan, also known as the Sidi Okba Mosque, the oldest mosque in North Africa and one of the most important monuments of early Islamic architecture. 

Afterwards, continue to Sousse, a major port city even before the founding of Carthage. Over the centuries, Sousse has been inhabited by the Romans, Byzantines, Normans and Spaniards. Visit the Sousse Archaeological Museum and explore the Medina of Sousse, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

18 December 2027 (Sat) Monastir / Tunis

Monastir to Olive Oil Estate 

Visit the elegant Mausoleum of Habib Bourguiba, the final resting place of Tunisia’s first president and an architectural landmark of Monastir.  
 
Continue through Tunisia's olive-growing countryside on an approximately 3-hour drive to a historic family-owned olive oil estate, where you will enjoy a guided tour and tasting of premium Tunisian olive oils. Tunisia's tradition of olive cultivation dates back to pre-Roman times, and today the country ranks among the world's leading producers of olive oil.  
 
Afterwards, travel approximately 1.5 hours to the Four Seasons Hotel Tunis.

Carthage and Sidi Bou Said 

Discover the UNESCO-listed archaeological sites of Carthage, exploring the Antonin Roman Baths, Byrsa Hill, and Tophets 
 
Then, proceed to the picturesque Sidi Bou Said Moorish village, nestled atop a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, renowned for its charming white-washed houses adorned with vibrant blue doors and windows.

Medina of Tunis 

After breakfast, discover the timeless charm of the Medina of Tunis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the historic heart of the capital. Wander through its labyrinthine alleyways lined with centuries-old mosques, traditional souks and historic palaces, offering a captivating glimpse into Tunisia's rich Arab-Islamic heritage. 
 
Following lunch, transfer to Tunis-Carthage International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your journey through Tunisia to a close.
