Inspired by Icelandic Viking architecture, this eco-luxury retreat with modern amenities can host up to 78 guests within its 1 four-bedroom villa, 10 two-bedroom Torfhús and 15 one-bedroom Torfbaer. The villa and the Torfhús come with their own private plunge pools, while the Torfbær are housed in sets of three which share a plunge pool. 

An Epicurean Taste

Enjoy finest, freshest local ingredients sourced from within the retreat’s 10-mile radius, including plants grown in greenhouses, mountain grazed livestocks, as well as seafood from local rivers and coasts. 

The menu changes every night, with the in-house chef crafting bespoke dining with wines complemented from carefully selected cellars. 

The Living Experience

Strategically located at the heart of Iceland’s famed Golden Circle, Torfhús Retreat offers sweeping views over volcanic plains, snow-capped mountains and the Langjökull glacier. 

From September to late March, a mesmerising display of Northern Light dances in the sky above Torfhús Retreat. 

Torfhús Retreat also has a dedicated fully equipped venue for private events and weddings.

You will be transferred from Golden Circle to Troll Peninsula.

Charmingly nestled in the remote Fljót Valley, Eleven Deplar Farm extends graceful hospitality amidst the untamed beauty of the Troll Peninsula. Once an authentic sheep farm, it has been beautifully transformed to house up to 32 guests within its 13 contemporary bedrooms. 

Deplar Farm is available for full buyout or individual guestroom reservation. There are also two private helipads for those who would like to arrive in maximum comfort. 

For summer, Deplar Farm is only available for bookings of 3 nights (Thu-Sun), 4 nights (Sun-Thu) and 7 nights (Sun-Sun). For winter, Deplar Farm requires a minimum of 3 nights.

Elevate your dining experience with craft brews and wines curated from Deplar’s extensive cellar, meticulously paired to complement your pasture-raised lambs and fresh seafood which are sustainably sourced from local farmers, fishermen and brewers to capture the essence of Icelandic allure. 

The Living Experience

With the Icelandic wilderness as the backdrop, Eleven Deplar Farm brings a range of modern comfort to keep your pampering quenched. 

The in-house wellness spa features a wide array of facilities, including among others geothermally heated indoor and outdoor pool with bar, sauna, two isopod flotation tanks, three treatment rooms, a yoga room and a gym with cardio machines, two Peloton bikes and weights. 

Relax into the oversized couch on the Media Room to watch customized screenings, with option to play your own material via Apple TV and Netflix. Game consoles are also available to satisfy the young spirits in all of us. There is also a Library with a nice fishing book collection. 

Head to the Bar for extended entertainment options, ranging from an oversized TV, pool table, foosball, darts and karaoke system. At the back of the bar, there is a stylish lounge framed by windows to soak in the surrounding mountain views.
