On this journey, experience the heart of Lapland off the beaten path and away from the tourist hordes, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the wilderness and partake in hand-picked winter activities that bring out the best that this region offers. Stay in stylish and unique accommodation out in nature, from a cool glass igloo where you can watch the night sky from your bed to a more traditional wooden lodge.

This itinerary is possible from December to early April.
Arrive Helsinki, be met and transferred for 30 min (approx. 27km) on private basis to your hotel. Have a free day exploring the city!
Optional Walking Tours:
Option A: Private Helsinki City Walk (3 hrs)
Start with sights around Senate Square such as the Lutheran Cathedral, the University, Presidential Palace, City Hall and the harbor area with Market Square and Uspenski Cathedral. Stroll through the shopping streets and the Esplanade Park, rock church etc.
Option B: Private Helsinki Design Work (2.5 hrs)
Have a view of the Finnish design, its history and world-known names and brands. It also introduces Finnish designers and emerging talents, design boutiques and workshops. The walk ends at Design Forum Finland with the Design Forum Shop.
Tip: Christmas fairs in Helsinki during December offers a variety of beautiful handicrafts, delicious baked goods and other unique Christmas gifts and delicacies. The main Christmas fairs can be found at the Senate Square, in Wanha Satama and in the Old Student House.
This morning, transfer 30min on private basis to the airport, for your 1.5hr flight to Kittila.
Levi Village At Leisure
On arrival in Kittila, be transferred 20km (25mins) on private basis to Levi Centre where you will be dropped off for lunch and some time at leisure in this small village with restaurants, shops and café (luggage will be dropped off in the car and transferred to the igloo in advanced).
Optional: Elves World Winter Exploration (2-3 hrs)
You may wish to embark on a memorable winter trip with the elves and learn about the biggest secrets of the elves world. Get to visit the Wise Elves Hut, Elves School and Gingerbread House and do a nice handwork. You will see the wonders of the beautiful winter world and feel the power of the Lappish nature. The toboggan slides are guaranteed fun!

Glass Igloo Magical Night
At 3.30pm, be picked up and transferred private basis to an exclusive glass igloo in a quiet location away from it all! The glass-ceiling igloos provide a warm base to sky-gaze, with the Northern Lights just above you. The glass is heated so there is no condensation to ensure the best unobstructed views! Evening, enjoy a traditional Finnish dinner.
Tip: Surprise your kids with a visit by Santa Claus to your igloo to complete the magic of Christmas as how a typical Finnish household would! He may even come bearing gifts!
You will be picked up from your glass igloo at about 1130hrs (Finnish time). Drive approximately 2.5 hours (approx. 190km) to Kangos and check into your guesthouse later in the afternoon and you have time to relax and unpack your luggage.
This evening, enjoy dinner in the lodge.
Kangos At Leisure to Join the Hotel Winter Activities
The fun begins! During your stay, enjoy various exciting winter activities like a snowmobiling adventure with an outdoor lunch ((2 persons in 1 snowmobile), snow-shoeing (2 hrs), an amazing Northern Lights tour in a sled and mushing your own husky sled (2 hrs, 2 persons in 1 sled). Experience the genuine Swedish Lapland in the peace and quiet of the wilderness. Surrounded by beautiful wintry landscape and nature, embark on your winter activities in an area so exclusive that rarely will you see another human being apart from the lodge’s own small group. The true Swedish hospitality and pristine wilderness are right here at your doorstep.

In the evenings, you may wish to enjoy the sauna! (Open for all guests between 4-7pm before dinner. Sauna after 8pm must be pre-book, maximum of 8 guests.)
Admire the Ice Carvings at the Ice Hotel
From Kangos, you are transferred 2 hours (140km) to the Ice Hotel. Be amazed by the beautiful ice carvings, and understand how the Ice Hotel is built every year – a truly fascinating and educational experience.
For the adventurous, you may wish extend one more night and try sleeping in a cold room of minus 5 degrees Celsius with its furniture made of ice! You sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of snow and ice, on reindeer skins.
Afterwards, transfer 15 mins to the airport for your 1hr 40min flight to Stockholm.
Upon arrival, be met and transferred (45min, 50km) to your hotel on private basis.

Option A: Private Stockholm City Walk (3 hrs)
Enjoy a walking tour of Gamla Stan (Old Town) with cobblestone streets and old buildings – your kids will think it’s a movie set created by Disney! See Storkyrkan, the Royal Palace (if possible, catch the Changing of Royal Guard!), the Royal Opera, Stadshuset, Kungsträdgården and much more.
Option B: Sweden’s Best Food (4 hrs, Join-In Basis)
Nordic food might be the most innovative cuisine in the world – and did you know it has its own manifesto? On this guided food and cultural city walking tour, you will enjoy delicious fresh food brought to you in true Scandinavian style, grown in the cold North using sustainable methods for the planet. We combine this with intriguing stories and insights into Stockholm’s history and food culture, from the foundation of the city to modern times. (Small group tour, maximum 12 persons)
In the late evening, be met and transferred to hotel airport (private basis) for your flight home.
