Arrival in Uluru

Transfer: Airport to Accommodation

Upon arrival in Ayers Rock Airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation. Depending on your flight arrival time, we may also recommend additional overnight stay in Uluru or an overnight in your transit city on the way to Uluru.

Field of Light Dinner

Enjoy gourmet canapes with chilled sparkling wine as you watch Uluru fades into the silhouette of the sunset. As the darkness falls, over 50,000 glass spheres illuminates the desert stretching as far as eyes can see. Enjoy delicious dinner infussed with bush tucker flavours as the resident star talker helps you decode the southern night sky.

Uluru

Ancient Domes of Kata Tjuta
As the morning glow of the sun bathes the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta, we will make our way to the best viewpoint followed by a hike through the Walpa Gorge, followed by a picnic breakfast.

Free Time at Leisure
The rest of the day is free at leisure. If you are staying in Sails in the Desert, you may have some free time to explore GOBA, The Lawn Gallery and/or Arkani Theatre. You may also want to experience the Australian Native High Tea with native ingredients sourced from Central Australia and around the country.

For guests staying at Longitude 131, we have included the Mala Walk experience as you meander through the Kantju Gorge and reveal the ancient Aboriginal artworks which are carved around the rock.

Uluru

Sunrise Over Uluru
Let us whisk you into a lovely location to view the sun rises over the Uluru, followed by an outback picnic breakfast. Thereafter, we will embark on the Kuniya Walk to visit the Mutitjulu Waterhole as you uncover the creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python). You will then be driven around the base of Uluru to unravel more stories of the Mala people before returning to your accommodation.

Wintjiri Wiru Sunset Dinner
A gentle stroll through the desert brings you to the open-air theater set at a dune top, where you can enjoy gourmet dinner hamper made with native ingredients. Choreographed drones, lasers and projections take flight into the night sky to narrate the stories of the Anangu as passed down through thousands of generations.

For guests staying at Longitude 131, your dinner will be at the Dune House.

Daintree & Mossman Gorge (Private)

Travel north along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive as you take in the stunning coastal views into Daintree, the world’s oldest rainforest. Your journey begins with a two-hour electric Daintree River Wildlife Cruise for closer encounters with crocodiles, birdlife and ancient flora. After a rainforest lunch at the Daintree Tea House with optional fruit tasting experience at the fruit orchard, we will stroll along the peaceful rainforest trails of the Mossman Gorge, accessing a secluded waterfall where you can swim if your heart desires!

Into the Outer Great Barrier Reef with a Marine Biologist

Hop onboard the luxury sailing catamaran (on shared basis) into two unspoilt locations on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You will be accompanied by a marine biologist and enjoy a reef interpretation talk as you uncover the pristine corals. Snorkeling equipment, optical masks, seasonal lycra snorkeling suits, wet suits and flotation devices will be provided. You will be transferred on a private basis between your accommodation and the catamaran embarkation point.
